Writing my own blog is an assignment that was a challenge for me because very seldom do I ever express my feelings verbally. Other than inside of my own mind. I did not enjoy blogging , and I didn't think I did very well on any of the assignments. I think that maybe I didn't try hard enough, and if I did maybe I would have done better. I did learn a couple of things from blogging about how to write for an audience. I learned that when you are writing for a specific audience you need to connect with your audience by writing in a more personal way. By writing on a personal level you are capturing your audience and letting them know who you are. I was not personal enough with my audience and I didn't like doing it. Although it was not my favorite assignment in class , blogging is useful. It is valuable to those who want someone else's opininon on something or who want to read about another persons experience.
Another problem that I have with this assignment is that I wish my teacher would have given us examples or explained our assignment more. I feel like it would have been more helpful to me. I do think that this assignment is a good idea because it help us become better writers. Overall this assignment is not something that experience again, not because it wasn't a good assignment. It just wasn't an activity that I found to be fun, but assignments are meant to teach us not to be fun.
